BigRep’s 2024 SPAC transaction is scheduled for the first quarter completion with a €157M Valuation
BigRep, a German large-scale 3D printer maker, intends to go public by merging with SMG Technology Acceleration SE (Xetra: 7GG), a Luxembourg-based special purpose acquisition company (SPAC). This strategic move will also entail the acquisition of HAGE3D, an Austrian competitor in large-scale industrial additive manufacturing (AM). The deal positions BigRep for major market development, with the merged business valued at roughly €157 million ($172 million). The transaction is scheduled to close in the first quarter of 2024.
